england 30 FIJI 24
There are rugby weekends and there are rugby weekends – Marseille has just hosted a barnstorming few days of action at Rugby World Cup 2023.
And while England’s march into the semi-finals is the standout moment, there is so much more to three days in the south of France.
Wonderful weather, a sea breeze, an army of white-shirted fans, three epic events at England Rugby House, Rugby World Cup winners and memories that last a lifetime all come together to create something very special.
If it wasn’t our galaxy of stars sending direct messages of good luck to the England camp inside our England Rugby House, it was drinks in the port, singing the anthem in the stadium or roaring England over the line against Fiji.
They will head to Paris for this weekend’s semi-final against South Africa as the only unbeaten team in the tournament and with a growing number of fans right behind them, the scene is set for something that could be very special.
Re-live it with us here.
