ADELAIDE

Adelaide

Adelaide is a so much more than a gateway to some of Australia’s best wine. It’s a city which is passionate about good food, and visitors will be spoilt for choice when it comes to amazing dining options. Rundle Street in Adelaide’s east end includes a mix of historic pubs and family-run cafes and restaurants. Dine alfresco, morning, noon and night. Five minutes away, Norwood Parade is famously European influenced while Gouger Street, which is close to Chinatown and the Adelaide Central Market, is crammed with good Asian restaurants.

It’s also a sports city. Home to the iconic Adelaide Oval, arguably the most picturesque ground in the world. If you’d rather play than watch, grab a bat and ball and head to one of the lovely city beaches for a game on the sand – you’ll probably be joined by some friendly locals eager to recreate the Aussie/England rivalry!

Other great Adelaide pastimes include taking a tram to Glenelg to swim with dolphins, enjoying one of the many vibrant events the city plays host to, and taking a trip out to the nearby vineyards. On a visit to Adelaide you’ll live the good life.

Things to do

Tee Off
